"El mural es un homenaje a los grupos Pericues y Guaycuras extintos en la zona de La Paz, Baja California Sur. La intención es transmitir a las nuevas generaciones el conocimiento de que en la zona convergen culturas hermosas capaces de ser uno con el mar y los seres que lo habitan. Elementos importantes como el "pez corazón" hablan del amor y el respeto que hay entre el paceño y su entorno natural. Esto es representado e interpretado de una forma contemporánea que hace una rápida conexión con esas nuevas y viejas generaciones de la comunidad."
COLECTIVO TOMATE: Grupo independiente de jóvenes mexicanos que buscan una mejora en el modo de vida de las ciudades de México y la sanación de comunidades inmersas en entornos de violencia, extrema pobreza o conflictos sociales a través de procesos artísticos, de diálogo y de trabajo en comunidad que revelan la identidad de los involucrados.

Important elements like the "heart fish" speak of the love and respect that exists between the people of La Paz and its natural environment. COLECTIVO TOMATE: An independent group of young Mexicans who seek an improvement in the way of life of the cities of Mexico and the healing of communities immersed in environments of violence, extreme poverty or social conflicts through artistic processes, dialogue and work in Community that reveal the identity of those involved.
